Here is the type of mix I use when I am outdoor.
A kilo of dry food will last for about 4 days if you're having 3 small meals a day.
All you have to do is mix it with some water or other liquid when you want to eat.
I use a combination of the following ingredients in various proportions depending on what I can find:
If you want, you can mix all the ingredients in a food processor to break down the nuts, seed and dried fruit and create a finer mix.
You can as well, ad grated cabbage and/or grated carrots, fresh herbs like mint, coriander and ginger. In that case, the mix will last about 10 days if it's not too hot.
If in doubt, keep this last set of fresh ingredients out of the original mix and ad them when you want to use them.
If you have access to them, food supplements like chyawanprash (google it) or other supplements in paste are an excellent addition to ad before eating.
The advantage of these energy mixes is that you don't need to cook, so no fire needed which simplifies a lot everything when you need to eat outdoor.
In my experience, if you have 5 kilos of such dry mix, you can last for about 3 weeks eating lightly.
Enjoy! Bon appetit!!
